Dominic St. John Shirley

Passed away on October 19, 2007.

Dominic St.John Shirley was born On February 24, 1983 at 5:15 am at St. Joseph's Hospital, Kingston Jamaica. He is the second born of twin to Trevor & Sharon Shirley(now Sharon Burke). After leaving the hospital he spent some time with  his father , grandparents Eric & Violet Shirley, older brother Theo, twin David, aunt Claudette and baby sitter Pearline. At the age of 4 months he  went to reside in Guy's Hill St. Catherine with his mother, his twin brother David and his  Great -Grand parents Ira & Winnifred Forbes. While there he was nurtured and cared for by his Mom, great grand parents, his Uncle Wayne and his baby sitter Carol. he also had as his playmate his Cousin Junior.
At the age of two he was taken to Kingston to attend school along with his older brother Theodore and his twin David. He resided at Gibbs Avenue with his other siblings and his aunt Claudette and his grand parents Eric & Violet Shirley and also his Dad Trevor. He attended St. Theresa's Prep along with his brothers and then the Jesse Ripoll Primary School where he was successful in passing the Common Entrance Exam to St Georges College. He also attended UTech where he became a Quantity Surveyor.  On October 19th he was cut down by a gunman's bullet which brought an end to his life at the tender age of 24. He leaves behind his mother Sharon, father Trevor (Noel), brothers Theo, David, Matthew and Nathan, sisters  Khadijha and Camille. Grandparents Eric and Violet Shirley, loving aunt Claudette( Grace), uncle Wayne and nieces Brianna and Anna-Lisa. Also mourning his loss are his loving cousins Junior, Tamara, Andrea,Troy, Shanique Jodi, Suwayne and granduncle Allan (Sanko) and a hosts of relatives and friends.
